A loop is formed between the two spring ends with your tying thread, the weight of the whirler is such that this loop remains shut until the whirler is slightly raised with your left hand the loop then opens and the material to be spun is placed in the loop your left hand then releases the whirler and the loop shuts holding the material in place the whirler is then spun and you have a rope of dubbed material.

A loop is formed between the spring ends this loop is then waxed as the spring on this whirler is stronger and will not shut and hold your material in, place your material in the loop and spin this gives a tighter rope than the Darrel Martin whirler.

This is a high quality product using only the highest quality electric motor and power source, there is nothing more frustrating than spending hours tying your epoxy headed flies only to have a poor quality rotator let you down and all your fly heads sag and drip. We have tested this product for hundreds of hours and never been let down. It consists of a heavy metal  base with an upright on which is mounted the motor which is totally enclosed in an aluminium enclosure, the fly holder is a 5inch round disc of plastazote with a slipping clutch built in allowing you to hold it to place your flies without constantly switching it on and off, a mains powered transformer is included, and finally all the metal parts are powder coated to give a long lasting finish.
